Belleek Castle Wedding

November 10, 2019

Conor and David were a dream couple to work with, totally chilled out and relaxed, which made my job really easy. They got married at the stunning Belleek Castle, Co. Mayo, surrounded by all beloved people.

That was my second wedding at Belleek Castle and for the second time I was completely blown away by the interior! It’s the ideal romantic Irish castle venue located in 200 acres of woodland and is dating back to the early 1400’s. All that together made a fantastic backdrop for all the photographs and looked absolutely stunning with all the autumnal colours.

Preparations took place in the castle and started from slow, relaxing breakfast. Both grooms decided to get ready together which made it handy for me to create photographs without jumping between two places. The lovely intimate ceremony has held in a beautiful rustic room beside castle and I just loved the design, specially a brickwork which has been left to keep the original character of the building. I loved all the laughs and tears of joy during ceremony and speeches later on in the evening. Without any doubt it was one of the most emotional weddings that I had opportunity to witness and it was wonderful to see how everybody got along.

After all the WOWs, guests mingled to cosy, open fire reception while we organised all formal, family photographs and Groom’s session in woods. Weather was warm with a dash of rain but we had beautiful, soft light and good few moments to create some timeless portraits.

Thanks a million to Conor and David for choosing me to be their wedding photographer at Belleek Castle. I had a great time and got some fatastic memories for these guys to treasure. If you like what you see, to check my availability and current pricing options for your wedding click here.
