A destination wedding does not need to become a production built around the fact that everyone travelled there. Once your guests arrive, the things that matter are still the same: people, relationships, atmosphere and having enough time to experience the day.

Why Black and White Photography Works So Well at Markree Castle
Markree is naturally suited to black and white photography. The stone architecture, historic interiors, window light, formal clothing and strong shapes of the castle can become even more graphic when colour is removed.
But I use black and white for more than architecture. During emotional moments it can simplify the frame and bring attention back to expressions, gestures and relationships. A quiet preparation photograph, a reaction during the ceremony or the movement of the dance floor can sometimes become stronger when there is nothing competing with the moment.
