The wedding day began with Clodagh and Alistair getting ready at Markree Castle, ensuring a relaxed and stress-free start.
Clodagh, accompanied by her bridesmaids, prepared in the bridal suite, where the air was filled with laughter, excitement, and joyful anticipation. Meanwhile, Alistair got ready in a charming suite near the Butler’s kitchen, sharing lighthearted moments with his groomsmen. Having both the bride and groom on-site allowed for a smooth, unhurried morning, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead.
As the ceremony time approached, the excitement was palpable. Every detail had been thoughtfully planned, leaving the couple and their loved ones calm, yet eager for the celebration to begin.
A Breathtaking Ceremony at Markree Chapel
The couple exchanged vows in Markree Castle’s stunning chapel, a setting renowned for its Gothic architecture, dramatic stained-glass windows, and timeless elegance.
With its rich colors and historic charm, the chapel created a truly enchanting atmosphere, perfect for an intimate and heartfelt ceremony. The love and emotion shared between Clodagh & Alistair made this moment unforgettable, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
Capturing Memories in the Castle Gardens
Following the ceremony, we ventured into Markree Castle’s breathtaking gardens for the couple’s portrait session.
With centuries-old trees, manicured landscapes, and the castle’s majestic architecture, these gardens provide an idyllic setting for wedding photography. The proximity of the gardens to the venue allowed for a seamless and effortless session, ensuring that Clodagh & Alistair could quickly return to their guests.
Inside the castle, we captured elegant, sophisticated portraits, taking full advantage of Markree’s grand interiors. The combination of outdoor natural beauty and indoor luxury resulted in a perfectly balanced wedding album, capturing both the romantic and regal essence of the day.
A Magical Celebration & First Dance Under the Stars
The reception was filled with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and joyful celebrations. One of the most touching moments of the evening was the stairway speeches, adding a unique and personal touch to the day.
Later in the evening, Clodagh & Alistair shared their first dance outdoors, under a canopy of twinkling lights and the serene night sky. This intimate moment marked the perfect beginning to an evening of celebration, filled with music, dancing, and unforgettable memories.
A Seamlessly Coordinated Wedding
