MARKREE CASTLE WEDDING, SLIGO

Today I would love to share with you a slideshow with highlights of Clodagh & Alistair’s fairytale Wedding day at Markree Castle. They both got ready in the castle and had the most beautiful Ceremony at Markree’s Chapel. They couldn’t be more right with the choice of this Wedding venue as it became a perfect backdrop for all their Wedding photographs and made a perfect home for a full day from start to finish! When it comes to Bride & Groom’s session I especially love the Markree Castle’s gardens, I just adore all that old trees and portraits with the castle in the background. Having such an amazing area just outside the doors, it’s a truly time saver! It make a Bride & Groom session quick and easy which equals more time spent with family and friends, enjoying the reception.

During Clodagh & Alistair’s Wedding day we went for a little walk around the castle and did some indoor photos too which, I believe, will make a perfect addition to their full Wedding album. Clodagh was getting ready in the bridal suite with her bridesmaids and Alistair was preparing just downstairs in the beautiful suite located beside Bulters kitchen. With Bride & Groom both getting ready at the same venue, we had plenty of time to relax and enjoy preparations without rushing. The morning went pretty fast (as always!) and I could easily feel the growing excitement closer to the time of ceremony. Honestly – Chapel at Markree Castle is definitely my favourite onsite Chapel. I love its classic but dramatic look, gothic vibe, strong colours and stunning stained tall glass windows. All this makes chapel so unique and magical. Straight after the Ceremony, we took a walk around the beautiful gardens and took many photos of Bride and Groom before they were ready to join their guests during reception. Stairway speeches couldn’t be more beautiful and the outdoor First Dance was just perfect beginning of the evening celebration. I have to say that Clodagh and Alistair were a pure pleasure to work with and whole team of Markree Castle was just amazing. Deirdre, who is a Markree Castle’s Wedding Coordinator, planned the day perfectly with attention to all the details. Everything went so smooth and was so beautifully prepared. A big thank you to all of you, especially Bride & Groom for having me! Hope you will enjoy this little slideshow of the day!
