From Morning Preparations to an Outdoor First Dance
One of the pleasures of a wedding held entirely at Markree Castle is how naturally the day can flow. Clodagh prepared with her bridesmaids in the bridal suite while Alistair got ready elsewhere in the castle, keeping both preparations close to the ceremony and celebration.
After their ceremony in the castle chapel, we could move between the gardens and historic interiors for portraits without taking the couple away from their guests for long. Later, speeches on the grand staircase brought everyone together before Clodagh and Alistair stepped outside for their first dance.
It is this combination of ceremony spaces, gardens and characterful interiors that gives every wedding at Markree Castle so many possibilities within one setting.
