Peter & David’s Markree Castle Wedding
Peter and David celebrated their wedding at Markree Castle , surrounded by family and friends for a relaxed, colourful celebration in the Sligo countryside.
Both grooms stayed at the castle the night before, before making their separate entrances into the Chapel for a civil ceremony that included family readings and the lighting of a unity candle.

A Wedding Full of Personality
What I loved about Peter and David’s wedding was how much of their personality came through in the photographs. The day never felt staged or overly formal. It moved naturally from the emotion of the ceremony to relaxed moments with family and friends, portraits around the castle and a brilliant evening celebration.
The coloured smoke portraits added something completely different to the gallery, while the quieter photographs around the grounds gave them space to simply enjoy being together. It is exactly that balance between real moments and a few creative portraits that I love documenting on a wedding day.
