A Wedding That Felt Entirely Their Own

Elise and Jon travelled from Minnesota to celebrate their wedding in Ireland, bringing a wonderful sense of warmth and individuality to the historic setting of Cloghan Castle. After the difficulties of planning a wedding during the pandemic, gathering together with loved ones made the occasion especially meaningful.

Their ceremony was led by a close friend from their school days, making the exchange of vows particularly personal. Laughter and emotion filled the celebration, while the castle’s intimate atmosphere created a beautiful setting for the occasion.

I had the pleasure of photographing their connection during a pre-wedding session and again on the wedding day. Their natural energy, the relaxed atmosphere and the individuality of every detail made this a particularly memorable story to photograph.
