After photographing many weddings at Cloughan Castle, I know the venue well enough to work without constantly thinking about where we need to go next. I know where the light works, where we can find quieter moments and when it is better simply to leave the couple with their guests.
That familiarity helps me keep photography relaxed. I can document what is happening without turning the wedding into a long sequence of staged photographs, while still making time for portraits when the light and moment are right.
