Markree Castle Wedding Christine & Ciarán

October 22, 2020

Christine and Ciarán had the most charming and intimate Markree Castle wedding you can ever imagine. I was so lucky to be a part of it and enjoy the day with them! It was one of those days with moody and rainy Irish weather but we still managed to do Bride & Groom session inside the castle. With so many beautiful indoor options – weather would never be a problem. I absolutely loved atmosphere during whole day and all the people that made this day very special. Both bride and groom had a relaxed ”getting ready” morning in local Castle Dargan estate and headed to the church straight after. The ceremony took place in a lovely and bright church in Ballisodare village, which is one of my favourite places for Catholic weddings. After the ceremony we were back into the cars for a drive to the wonderful Markree Castle. And the celebration began…!
Markree Castle weddings are always a great experience and I really missed this place during those affected by Covid months. I’m really Looking forward to working there again this year and come back next years for more beautiful real wedding stories.
