01 · REAL WEDDING IN DUBLIN

The College Green Hotel Dublin Wedding / Elegant City Wedding Photography

A beautiful Dublin wedding filled with genuine emotion, elegant surroundings and unforgettable moments. From relaxed morning preparations and a meaningful church ceremony to romantic portraits across the city, this celebration brought together everything I love about photographing weddings in Ireland’s capital.

Photographed by Wojciech Koza, this real wedding captures the atmosphere of a Dublin city celebration, with an elegant reception at The College Green Hotel Dublin, one of the capital’s distinctive historic hotels.

02 · THE WEDDING STORY

A Dublin Wedding / From Morning Preparations to an Elegant Reception

There is something special about a wedding in Dublin. The city offers an extraordinary combination of historic architecture, atmospheric streets, elegant hotels and beautiful coastal scenery. For couples who love the character of a European capital, Dublin provides endless opportunities to create a wedding celebration that feels personal and memorable.

This wedding began at Sandymount Hotel, where the bride and her bridesmaids enjoyed the excitement of getting ready together. The morning was filled with anticipation, conversations and those small, spontaneous moments that often become some of the most meaningful photographs of the day.

The celebrations continued with a church ceremony at Star of the Sea Church, followed by wedding portraits around Dublin and an elegant reception at The College Green Hotel.

From the first moments of the morning to the atmosphere of the reception, the photographs tell the story of a wedding that combined the intimacy of personal moments with the beauty and energy of Dublin.

03 · MORNING PREPARATIONS

Sandymount Hotel / The Beginning of the Wedding Day

Wedding mornings have their own unique atmosphere. Before the ceremony begins, there is time for conversations, laughter, anticipation and the quiet excitement of everything that is about to happen.

At Sandymount Hotel, the bride spent the morning surrounded by her bridesmaids as everyone prepared for the celebration. The finishing touches, the excitement of getting dressed and the natural interactions between friends created beautiful opportunities for documentary wedding photography.

My approach during bridal preparations is deliberately relaxed. Rather than constantly directing every moment, I prefer to observe the atmosphere and photograph the day as it naturally unfolds.

These photographs become an important part of the wedding story because they preserve moments that the couple may not have the opportunity to experience together.

04 · THE WEDDING CEREMONY

Star of the Sea Church / A Meaningful Dublin Wedding Ceremony

The wedding ceremony took place at Star of the Sea Church, where the couple exchanged their vows surrounded by family and friends.

For me, ceremony photography is about preserving genuine emotion. The anticipation before the bride arrives, the expressions exchanged during the vows and the happiness that follows the ceremony are moments that cannot be recreated.

I work as discreetly as possible during the ceremony, allowing the couple and their guests to remain focused on the occasion rather than the camera.

The result is a collection of photographs that reflects the atmosphere of the ceremony and the people who shared this important moment.

05 · DUBLIN WEDDING PORTRAITS

Romantic Wedding Photography / Dublin City and Coastal Scenery

One of the advantages of planning a wedding in Dublin is the variety of locations available for wedding portraits. Historic buildings, elegant streets and beautiful coastal surroundings provide opportunities to create photographs with very different atmospheres.

Following the ceremony, we made time for portraits that reflected the character of the city. The combination of Dublin’s architecture and coastal scenery provided a beautiful contrast to the elegant interiors of the wedding reception.

My approach to wedding portraits combines gentle direction with natural interaction. I want couples to feel comfortable and enjoy their time together rather than spend the entire session following complicated poses.

The most meaningful photographs often happen between the planned moments: a spontaneous smile, a quiet conversation or a simple gesture that reflects the connection between two people.
