It suits couples who want the guest experience to continue developing beyond the main banquet.
W.B. Yeats
W.B. Yeats is the most extensive of the main literary-named packages. The current version builds on the earlier options with a broader welcome reception, premium drinks and food elements, greater banquet choice and additional evening details. Features such as gin trees, craft beer, an oyster bar, grazing boards and the stacked cheese wheel make this the package where hospitality becomes a particularly visible part of the celebration.
Markree Platinum
Markree Platinum takes a different approach rather than simply following the same progression. Its current format centres on specially selected dishes, a generous welcome reception, canapés and grazing boards, a five-course banquet and a distinctive late-night food experience. It is worth comparing directly with Patrick Kavanagh and W.B. Yeats rather than assuming that package names alone tell you which one best suits your plans.
Festive
The Festive package is designed specifically around the atmosphere of a Christmas wedding at Markree Castle. Seasonal drinks, festive canapés and treats, a Christmas-influenced menu and evening food sit alongside the castle when it is decorated with trees, garlands, candlelight and fires. For a winter celebration, this is not simply another menu option. The season becomes part of the experience itself.
